Meta has come to wield decisive influence over public opinion around the world. It is capable of magnifying insignificant events while making major developments seem as though they barely happened at all. It has the power to elevate individuals and make them popular, while silencing and discrediting others. It can help bring down governments and assist politicians in gaining power.

It can do all of this simply by delivering information to its users in a selective and manipulative manner. Today, the rulers of social media can influence the fate of countries and peoples merely by changing an algorithm.

This cannot continue!

As the president of the Mi Hazánk Movement, I myself have for years suffered a serious disadvantage as a politician compared with my rivals, because Meta arbitrarily and without any basis labels me a terrorist and, citing this, prevents me from maintaining my own profile on its platforms. I am unable to address or reach the members of my political community, nor do I have access to the broad public audience that could ensure a level playing field between me and my political opponents.
